Calls from anywhere in the U.S. will be routed to the nearest crisis center hub (based on area code) where trained triage counselors will help people experiencing suicidal thoughts, or a mental health or substance use crisis.

People can also dial 988 if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support.
