Stabilization Services

FBH’s Stabilization unit is a 16-bed inpatient treatment facility that provides short-term care on a voluntary basis to individuals 18 or older who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal of the program is to assist individuals in resolving their crisis and make appropriate community linkages for ongoing services.

Services include:

• Health screenings and nursing assessments
• Short-term life skills training
• Discharge planning including referrals and linkage to other resources in the community
• If appropriate, psychiatric evaluation and treatment
